After 20 years working in corporate radio, I decided to start my own station. In 2019 The Edge was born. 

Classic Rock was later added to the name after another station signed on using the same name, so we became 

The Edge

Dave Frisina, a good friend from my radio days who put 33 years in the Radio Biz joined on in March of 2022 doing Soulshine Sunday mornings.

Our Edge logo made it's debut in April of 2022 courtesy of Dave Frisina and his handy computer skills.

Dave Frisina added Nightshine to the Edge lineup in December of 2023.

The Rock Meister joined the Edge in early 2024 doing two shows, Rock's Rock Golden Years and Rock Power.

In May 2026 we added an amazing talent.. Jo Shannon He's the host of The Rewind, Jo features the best in Classic Rock Hits and Deep Cuts

Remember when FM radio was just getting started?  The DJ's loved playing the hits, but those longer album cuts would find their way on-air, too. And just like that, the Album Oriented Rock format was born!

Jo thinks the tunes of the 60's-80's still sound as powerful today.  From the hits to deep cuts and other rarities, The Rewind plays 'em!  Plus, each week, Jo will dig into the stories behind the songs and share memorable dates in rock music history.
